With Matrix's Marketing Assistance services, your home owning employees

deciding a realistic listing price, developing a very aggressive marketing
strategy, and closing the final sale of their home. This means shorter
marketing times, quicker sales, and reduced relocation costs.
2. Homesale Assistance
You can choose from a number of home sale programs to meet your company’s
unique needs and culture, while keeping your relocation costs in line.
We can help you manage your Direct Reimbursement program, or counsel your
transferees through the Amended Value, Home Buyout or Buyer Value Option
transactions.
3. Rental Asistance
For Renters, we provide the same full support and high quality service we offer your homeowning employees. In addition to the Rental Assistance/Destination services described below, we also offer your renters temporary housing, spouse/partner career assistance, cost of living services, household goods move management, and expense management.
We combine comprehensive Rental Assistance with first-class Destination
Services to help your renting employees quickly and effortlessly settle
in to their new location. We pre-qualify rental agents in the destination,
arrange an area tour, and provide advice on local lease procedures and
cancellation requirements. Your renters will also receive assistance with
important neighborhood, school and childcare information and resources.
4. Destination Service
Employees who make informed decisions about their new home and neighborhood settle in more quickly and return to productivity sooner following their relocation. With our Domestic Destination Services, your transferees will receive expert guidance in evaluating their housing and community needs, selecting and managing a qualified real estate agent, arranging any necessary inspections, and closing the purchase of their new home. One of the most important phases of a corporate relocation takes place when your employees and their families arrive in the new location. Where will they live? How will they find a home? What are the schools like? What activities are available for their children? How will they replace the
network of doctors, dentists and daycare providers they left behind? Your transferees will receive the answers to these questions and more as part of our Domestic Destination services.
5. Temporary Living
Our partnerships with several of the nation’s leading temporary housing
networks ensure that your employees have access to the widest selection
of Temporary Housing properties and amenities available. Where appropriate,
we also research and utilize the services of alternate temporary housing,
including resident suites and hotels, to accommodate your specific needs
and budget. Your transferees receive knowledgeable assistance in identifying
their housing needs and setting realistic expectations. We also manage
the entire process for them, including search, lease, vacate dates, early
departures and extensions.
6. Expense Management
Our Expense Management program is one of the most comprehensive in the
industry, giving you maximum control over the entire cost and tax accounting
function for relocation. You’ll remain in compliance with IRS guidelines,
maintain control over your costs, and receive timely payments of your
transferees’ reimbursements and tax expenditures, while alleviating the
administrative burden on your HR, A/P and Payroll departments.
Our Expense Management professionals are up to date on current IRS requirements and processing alternatives. Your transferees’ expense reports will be audited for all relocation expenditures to ensure policy conformity, accuracy, and proper receipts. Utilizing state-of-the-art software, our expense management professionals will report all withholding and gross-up requirements to your company Payroll Department. They will also generate your transferees’ Relocation Tax Reports and provide customized management reporting to keep you in control.
As an added benefit, we can use the information resulting from your Expense Management program to help you build more accurate relocation budgets, forecasts and reports.
7. Household Goods Move Management
Matrix provides the highest quality household goods transportation services
in every state and in over 80 countries around the world. Our value-added services are simply about making our customers' moves as smooth as possible. We recognize that a successful household goods shipment is more than getting an employee's possesions safely to its final destination. It involves making a transferee feel comfortable with the move process, and gaining their trust. We know that a transferee's personal treasures are irreplaceable and not just numbers that appear on an inventory list. We take the care necessary to ensure those treasures are protected.
8. COLA
Matrix's Cost-of-Living Services are designed to give you a “snapshot” glimpse of the cost differences between your transferees’ departure and destination locations, including typical costs for housing, consumables, transportation, health services, and other variables. Your transferees receive this service free of charge. More comprehensive cost-of-living comparisons are also available for a fee.
9. Mortgage Assistance
Matrix offers a full compliment of mortgage services, including Direct
Billing, through our affiliate company Partners First.
